How do I apply the decal?

What type of surface can the decal be applied to?

The decals should be applied to a smooth, clean surface free of any dirt or moisture. A newly plastered wall should be allowed to dry for at least four weeks, a newly painted wall at least two weeks. 

Are the decals re-positionable?

To an extent. The adhesive allows for some re-positioning, so you can lightly apply the decal to check that you have it in the right position, but once you firmly apply the decal to the wall, re-positioning isn't recommended. This is to ensure that you don't reduce the effectiveness of the adhesive, so that the decal remains nicely in place for years to come! 

How do I clean and remove a decal?

The decals can be lightly cleaned with a damp, non-abrasive soft cloth or sponge. To remove the decal, simply peel off. If the surface is well sealed, there should be little adhesive residue and no damage to the wall. However as the condition of the wall, and therefore the bond between the decal and wall, is outside our control, we can't offer any liability for any damage to the wall upon removal. Whilst there shouldn't be any adhesive residue, we cannot provide any guarantees against this.  

What's included with a decal?

With each decal, you'll receive a squeegee to help you apply the decal to the wall, application instructions and the decal itself.  

How do I order a personalised design?

Contact me via the contact form on this site letting me know which design you like, which text option you prefer and the name you would like to be included. I'll send you a PDF of the design to approve. Once you let me know that you're happy with it, I'll email you asking to purchase the decal/print through the website and once I have received payment, I'll process the order. It will usually take 3 days from your first email for me to send you the design and then once you have paid, another 5 days before I send the product to you, with a 2 day delivery. 

How are your products delivered?

Decals are sent in postal tubes via myHermes 2 day, signed for service and prints are sent Royal Mail signed for, 2nd class. 

What's your returns policy?

We will happily offer a refund on an item returned to us within 14 days of purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with the product, or have had a change of heart, please contact us at [email protected], quoting your order number. We will email you with a returns form, which you will need to print and fill out to send back to us with your product.

If you would like to return an item, please send it, along with the returns form, to the address noted on the form. Items can only be refunded if they are returned in original packaging, unused and in perfect condition. The sender is responsible for ensuring that the package arrives safely and we would therefore recommend using a recorded, tracked delivery service. Wonderfully Made is not liable for any damage to goods in postage, or for goods that do not arrive. Delivery charges are to be paid for by the sender. 

Upon receipt of the returned goods, we will email you to confirm that your refund is being processed, which could take up to 5 days. 

If you receive an item that you believe to be faulty or incorrect, please contact us immediately and within 3 days of having received the goods. Quote your order number and include a description of the fault and a photograph. We will happily arrange for either a full refund or exchange
